The range in childhood concerns varies from colic, bedwetting, ear pain, to growing pains, behavioral challenges, hyperactivity, allergies, and asthma, just to name a few.Children are an important focus in our office, as we are seeing an alarming rise in the prevalence of autism, autism spectrum and ADHD, asthma and allergies diagnoses in our children. Identifying retained primitive reflexes early in life and implementing simple daily exercises works toward remediation of these reflexes. This then allows the nervous system and brain to develop properly in a hierarchal fashion and may help alleviate some learning and developmental challenges.
Dr. Shaian is certified in the Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and encourages women to receive care during this time. The biomechanical postural alterations resulting from pregnancy can exacerbate chronic conditions, or create imbalances in the spine and nerve system resulting in discomfort, pain, or dysfunction. Specific adjustments designed to relieve stress on the joints and muscles allow optimize nerve flow, ensure proper pelvic alignment, and reduce the physical stress that pregnancy can impose on the body. Pregnancy is an incredibly special time and maximizing our expecting mother's comfort and opportunity to enjoy the process is of utmost importance to us.

I went to Dr Shaian due to a lower back problem. What I really liked it was that she did not only treat the problem, but explained the root of it and how to addressed it. After my first session I felt like play dough! I have never felt so loose. No massage ever made me feel like that. She created a long term plan to fix my back problem and an easy payment plan.
I had my first consultation with Shaian yesterday and she provided a very caring and informative experience. I was put immediately at ease and have already learned new things about my body and how it functions. Look forward to my next session.
I have worked with a number of Chiropractors over the last several years and Dr Shaian stands out above the crowd. She has a unique holistic view of things that takes all of your body and mind into account and it is apparent that she genuinely cares about her patients. I would highly recommend Dr Shaian to anyone looking for a great Chiropractor.
Life changing is the only way I can describe Cafe of Life Chiropractic. My posture has improved and much of my upper back tension and stuckness has disappeared.
